2025 CSA Welcome letter

Welcome CSA members.  It has been a very long winter with some trying times to say the least, but lots of new and exciting things are happening on the farm.

Our goal is to reconnect people to the land that sustains them, and build rewarding relationships between the farmers and shareholders. By joining our CSA, you are participating in preserving a local farm, and helping foster renewable farming practices that enrich the earth.

Your first pick-up day is just around the corner, and I imagine you are all eager for it to arrive just as we are!  All of us at the farm are looking forward to meeting the new members of our Hill Top Farm family, and seeing the familiar faces of our returning members from the past.

We hope you enjoy your fresh locally grown produce, baked goods, cheeses, and smoked meats throughout the upcoming months.  The CSA members area is our primary form of communication with you, so please take a look at the CSA, and farm info page from us, so you don't miss anything important about the CSA.

Our 2025 CSA Season's first pickup or Delivery will be the week of May 4th, and the last pickup will be the week of October 20th.  Pickup days are posted on a link in the members page. You will choose a pickup location from the link, then place your weekly order. Please place orders online 48 hours before your pickup or delivery time. This gives us time to fulfill your order. Sourdough baked goods are made fresh, and take 24 hours! Sorry, but smoked meats can only be picked up from the farm or delivered to the Winona and Van Buren areas on Saturdays.

We invite you to come and see what we are doing at anytime.  We are open daily from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm.  We are also in and out on the weekends due to our time at the local farmers markets.  Anytime before or after your CSA subscription begins and ends we will have produce and other goodies at the farmers market.  We are set up from the first of April through November.  Our location is Fridays at the Lone Star Farmers Market in Houston from 8am to 1pm.

We pledge our best effort to provide the highest quality food to you in a consistent manner. We are excited about the strides we take year after year to reach our goals, and invite you along for the ride!
